Parks & Recreation

The City of Taylor is proud to boast its expansive park system, with all its amenities including swimming pools, walking trails, lakes, basketball courts, playgrounds and much more!

New projects are in the works, including a skate park and redesign of downtown's Heritage Square Park.

The Main Street Trail that runs from the south side of the city to the north, up to Taylor Regional Sports Complex, was completed in April 2017. It's a scenic walk or bike trail for all to enjoy.

New pickleball courts have been installed at Murphy Park at the tennis center. An opening ceremony is planned for late 2017.
