  • An Internet connection is available for public use on 15 computers and a wireless Internet connection is also available. 
  • The Library provides library materials and services to support the informational, educational, and recreational needs of our citizens.
  • Our collection includes 51,701 volumes, including DVDs, audio books, and more.  Library card holders also have access to a large collection of e-books through Overdrive & Tumblebooks and e-magazines through Zinio.

Library Mission Statement

The mission of the Taylor Public Library is to promote a life-long love of reading and to provide educational, informational, and recreational resources to patrons of all ages and of all cultural and economic backgrounds.

Library Activities

  • An AARP Income Tax Assistance program is available at the library to provide income tax preparation assistance each year from February through April.
  • Story Time is every Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. 
  • Summer Reading Program is 8 weeks each summer and includes a Read-To-Me Program with 8 special programs at 10:30 am on Wed. mornings. There are prizes, and awards for all participants.
